Grab a group of friends, coworkers, or your significant other and put a unique spin on Happy Hour! Your adventure begins out on the Preserve’s 1 mile snowshoe or 1.5 mile ski trail illuminated by candles and moonlight.

Pre-registration closed at 11:00pm on Thursday, February 8th. Tickets are available at the door, but each ticket will cost an extra $5 if bought on day of the event.

The 5th annual BrewSki at Bubolz Nature Preserve, presented by Community First Credit Union will take place on Friday, February 9th, bringing together snow, craft beer, wine, cocktails, and entertainment! With fun on tap from 5:00 – 8:00pm, participants will kick off their BrewSki experience on the Preserve’s 1 mile snowshoe or 1.5 mile ski trail illuminated by candles and moonlight. Afterwards, warm up in The Lodge where you will kick back with live music and sample beers, wines, and cocktails with warm food.

This event is designed for ages 21 and over.

We reserve the right to modify the event due to weather, no refunds will be given.

Schedule of Events

  • The event will offer open skiing and snowshoeing from 5:00 – 8:00pm. (Equipment will go out on a first come, first serve basis)
  • Participants can begin skiing and snowshoeing anytime between 5:00 – 7:30pm.
  • Sampling event will be open from 5:30 – 8:00pm.
  • Live entertainment from 5:30 – 8:00pm.

Cost

  • $45 per person – All Access Pass
  • $20 per person – Designated Driver
  • Pre-registration closes at 11:00pm on Thursday, February 8th. If any tickets are left, each ticket will cost an extra $5 if bought on day of the event.

The price includes ski or snowshoe rental, hot cocoa, sampling event, live music, and food. The funds raised will benefit Bubolz Nature Preserve and enable us to provide meaningful experiences to our community through education, recreation, and conservation.

Live Music & Food

Keep the fun going indoors with live music from 5:30 – 8:00pm. Participants can kick back and listen to great music and each participant will receive a ticket for their choice of food. Food includes chips, a cookie, and the choice of a hot dog, brat, black bean burger, or hamburger.

FAQs

Do I have to be an experienced skier or know how to snowshoe to participate? No, all abilities are welcome!

Will there be non-alcoholic beverages available? Yes! Each table will have an n/a option available, including hot chocolate, local n/a brews, a mocktail, local root beer, and more!

What happens if the snow levels are low? The event will go on! We'll still light up the night with a candlelit hike, and all attendees will receive a free ski or snowshoe rental pass!

What happens if ski and snowshoe equipment runs out? We only have a limited number of cross county skis and snowshoes. Equipment will go out on a first come first serve basis, but you have a few options if we are short on equipment. You can hike the snowshoe trail or we can put you on a waitlist and you can head upstairs to start sampling while you wait for equipment to come back.
